Subject: IE 6.0 Problems
I get this message whenever I come to amiright.com:
Your browser appears to have the "BDE" parasite installed. This software can compromise your computer's security, and may present you with unwanted advertising. It might have been installed without your knowledge. Information and removal instructions.
Your browser appears to have the "NewDotNet/B" parasite installed. This software can compromise your computer's security, and may cause errors and stability problems. It might have been installed without your knowledge. Information and removal instructions.
I've done the instructions but still don't get some of what they're saying. Anyone else have this problem?

I get "Flashtrack" and "Wurldmedia" parasite installed!
I don't know what that means. It appears they want you to click on it to trick you into downloading something without your full knowledge of what your downloading.
Tomcat ???

you've both installed software without your knowledge (it's not a browser problem).. basically, you need to download adaware by lavasoft..
these packages live on people's systems, and steal credit from affiliate programs.. so if you buy an album from amazon after following a link on my site, it prevents me from getting creditted, instead the parasite company makes the money
usually people get these things installed when they install Kaaza or Morpheus or other similar programs.. some are popups on websites
visit this site for software to clean your system: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

ok yea that makes sense, I DLed Kazaa onto my computer. so one question, if I run Kazaa now after I install the program, will I have this problem again?

I believe adaware will remove the cydoor.dll file that Kaaza uses.. download Kaaza lite, which removes all the annoying ads, and prevents you from getting the nasty spyware.. it's what I use now..

I endorse what Chucky is saying - since I ditched Kazaa and started with Kazaa lite, I have had NIL problems....

Ditto, though I did it the other way round by accident: I had been running Kazaa lite, but ran the wrong install as I wasn't concentrating hard enough, and upgraded to Kazaa rather than lite . D'Oh!
There seemed to be more hard disk activity than when I'm actually working...
