Subject: InTheWhat?
Just a thought on how to pronounce "inthe00s" - I mean, inthe80s is obviously "in the eighties", but "inthe00s"...
Could be "in the oh-oh's"...but that starts sounding like Scooby Doo
Could be "in the zeros"...but that sounds a bit silly
...as with "in the nothings"
So I've settled on "in the ooze" as the way I refer to this site ;-)

LOLOL!!! ;D ;D ;D
I had been using "in the oh-oh's", but I like "in the ooze" better!!
Subject: Re: InTheWhat?
I pronouce it like Jethro Bodine, i. e. "double nought." If you ever watched The Beverly Hillbillies, in some episodes, he dreamt of being a "double-nought spy," like James Bond, 007.

I call it "In the Thousands." :)
Subject: Re: InTheWhat?
I call it "In the noughties", like the uninspired person like I am.

I have always considered there was no other choice, once '00' came along.

i was calling it 'in the thousands' but i kinda like 'in the noughties' better...
Subject: Re: InTheWhat?
I'd have to say "in the double zeroes". In the "oh oh's" is incorrect grammar. An "O" (oh) is a letter, a "0" (zero) is a number.

How about "In the SpaghettiOs"? :D
