if you go into your user profile, you can turn off viewing of Avatars, signatures, similies, and a bunch of other things which cause slow connections to take longer to view posts.. give it a try, let me know of any potential problems

A request for new functionality at amiright - this may be trivial or virtually impossible depending on how your data is organized, but would it be possible to include the voting results in the search results pages? Sort of an extra column, e.g. "4.1/3.8/4.1 (10)"
