My wife Susan had an excellent suggestion for a change to the logo, since I knew something was still not quite "musical" about it. Check the attachment, I think this a huge improvement.

It's a nice idea to include a musical instrument, but is everyone going to realize that the guitar is supposed to be the letter "I"?

Could you make the guitar just slightly off the background color, so the "i" is more prominent?

Good idea. I changed the white to green as well, because the stark white looked wrong as well. I think this is much better.

and.... I changed my mind again. I've tested it out on a few people who aren't familiar with the site, and none of them could make it the upside down A. It's obvious to me at this point because I worked with it for so long my brain is just trained to spot it.
so after another two hours and a hundred sketches, here is the latest with the A right side up.

I've further refined it today. I think I'm done with it now. I spent entirely way too much time with it at this point.

I wanted to replace the logo on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Am_I_Right but have no idea where to start.
