Could be (and is) that the delima she has there went out in a certain email letter and so the parodies got support from those who read the letter

no, every time I run the duplicate IP check, hers turn up dozens of repeat votes from the same computer, all within a couple minutes of each other.
a lot of the political parodies have the same problem, usually it's the reverse though (lots of negative votes from the same children)
