Subject: Punk's "Daddy": 60's Garage Band music
Written By: AmericanGirl on 01/03/18 at 3:00 pm
Leading into the music genre that we all know as Punk, was a highly influential 60's music genre on its own, Garage Band music. This music style achieved a high degree of popularity in the mid to late 60's.
One tune that masterfully adheres to 60's politeness norms while possessing the irreverence of Punk - Music Machine's Talk Talk (1966):

I've got to bump this up because 1960's garage punk is one of my favorite musical genres.
This song here is absolutely 100% crude punk rock from 1964.
