You had to watch new episodes of your favorite shows at the time came on or else you'd have to see it when it came on later
You remember where you were when John F Kennedy was assassinated
You watched Shows in school on Film Projectors
The Communists were your main enemy

I am a 60s kid, and I do not remember the assassination of JFK, but I do remember hearing the assassination of Robert Kennedy on the news in 1968.
