Subject: Culture of 1916: More like 1914 or 1918?

1916 was one of the most unique years of the 1910s. It is part of the core/mid 1910s. Like 1914, people are divided on what 1916 is culturally. 1914 is mid 1910s but there were some early 1910s hanging on and 1918 was the peak year of the late 1910s.
1916 was a split year where the first half was still mid 1910s but the second half was when late 1910s influence start to take shape.
