I agree with you about Cilla! I was only 5 in 64 but I was lucky to have much older brothers so I was exposed to a lot of music from the 60s.
My "other" votes are for We'll Sing in the Sunshine by Gale Garnett and Dead Man's Curve by Jan and Dean.
64 was a good year for songs!
