They surely resemble an innocent time the way they sing. But I'll have to go with Connie Francis. Who's Sorry Now takes me back to the diner and Where The Boys Are takes me to prom; I also love My Happiness, Don't Break The Heart That Loves You, and Everybody's Somebody's Fool.

Impossible to split the two IMO, as they're both legendary and rightly so...

Yelimsexa, Connie Francis deserves a place in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. In the late 50's she was one of the first female pioneers in bringing rock n' roll to mainstream white America, Brenda Lee in the 60's owes Connie some gratitude for leading the way in her success. I wrote to the Hall about getting Connie nominated, with no reply on their part, maybe someday she'll have her place in the Hall, she has earned it.
