Subject: Corn Muffins
Written By: Cautious Lip on 01/25/09 at 10:05 am
Does anyone remember these corn muffins? They came frozen in a box, were flat and shaped like ears of corn. After they thawed you would toast them in a toaster or a toaster oven. They came out around the late 60's then disappeared from the stores rather quickly. Does anyone know the names of these muffins and what company manufactured them?

YES!!! I know what you're talking about! We at them all the time in the 60s. They were so good, but I have no idea what they were called or what happened to them. :( I wonder about Danish Go Rounds too. Much better than Pop Tarts!

Thanks for remembering! Yeah, they were good. I loved Danish Go Rounds too. Loved the cinnamon flavor the best.

They were shaped like corn and had imprints of corn kernals and husks.

Me too, Cat. I wish they'd make a comeback. They were so good.

I wish I did. I don't know the product's name so I wouldn't know where to look.
