Subject: Anyone remember Paulus The Forest Gnome...?

Paulus The Forest Gnome was a children's tv series of 39 episodes from 1967, created by Dutchman Jan van Oort (Jean Dulieu).
I never even realized he was Dutch until I read about his passing away earlier this week, at the age of 85.
I know the series dubbed in English and sold to the UK and Australia (among other), so it is possible someone out there knows what I'm talking about. Anyway, here's a scene from the series:

There was a 1974 remake of the series, but that wasn't created by Mr Van Oort and he wasn't very pleased with the result.
