Here is one of my favorites.
But I warn you, do not watch it unless you have a strong stomach. 8) The "cute" factor is unbelieveable, and the singing basically sucks. But it is a classic of the era.

Not so rare but an early "video" is the Beatle's release of "Penny Lane" in 1967. Here's a link to an updated release of it:

This one is from a rare 1957 movie called "Bop Girl Goes Calypso" starring Judy Tyler
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Txv-WO4YyM8
Anybody remember Judy Tyler? She was Princess SummerFallWinterSpring on the Howdy Doody show, starred in one Broadway show "Pipe Dream" one of Rogers & Hammerstein's few flops, went to Hollywood where she made two movies, this one where she sang and danced, and "Jailhouse Rock" with Elvis where she did neither, and then was tragically killed in an auto accident.

I was surprised to find a clear recording a video of Mary Hopkin's - "Those were the Days" on You Tube considering it was recorded in 1968!

Personally I'm glad that this song has been preserved because I consider it a great contribution to our culture (well the song not so much the video)
And for anyone who has played FF3 (6), this song fits perfectly for that game, especially when Celes meets up in a tavern a year after the party first breaks up.

Goodbye by Mary Hopkins:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTxyFlL15hA&feature=related
Here is the original composer of the song Paul Mcartney performing his version:
Here are the lyrics:
Please don't wake me until late tomorrow comes,
And I will not be late.
Late today when it becomes tomorrow.
I will leave to go away.
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye my love goodbye.
Songs that lingered on my lips excite me now
And linger on my mind.
Leave your flowers at my door
I'll leave them for the one who waits behind.
Far away my lover sings a lonely song
And calls me to his side.
When the song of lonely love
Invites me on I must go to his side.
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye my love goodbye.
Here is another of her hits "Temma Harbour"
