Subject: Main Differences Between Late 60s and early 70s 'Stadium Rock'
Written By: Trimac20 on 07/10/06 at 10:36 pm
What are the fundamental differences (if any) between groups like the Doors, Who and Led Zep, Deep Purple.etc? Do you think 70s rock was more polished/commercialised, and late 60s rock a bit more sprawling? Then Who are probably more like 70s rock in that respect. But forgetting specific bands, do you see any real differences between a rock group circa 1966-67, and circa 1972-73?
