Yes, I've heard the intro of W.T.M.O described as the very 'definition of Acid Rock.' A real trip...

I picked Riders on the Storm because it's one of the few overplayed songs (everytime a bad cloud came up) that I never got tired of.

It's a shame most people know them from their poppier hits like 'Hello I Love You', 'Touch Me' and 'Riders.' IMO their best stuff is their least commercially successfully stuff.

Had a dear friend who said his favorite lyric of all time was "woke up in the morning, got myself a beer." Never was sure what to make of that.

I don't really like the Doors, so I won't vote- however, I do appreciate them as a good and influential rock band.

I voted for touch me.
Its a difficult selection though, I like "love me two times", Light my fire(of any duration) and Riders on the storm just as much.
What swayed me was that I enjoyed playing Touch me on the guitar alot more than the other songs i suppose.

So many good songs. My favorite ( Love Her Madly ) wasn't there so I picked Riders on the Storm.
