I think the The Graduate was the best movie of the 1960's but that is because I love Dustin Hoffman's performance. :)

Yeah, Graduate was good. '2001 Space Odyssey', though it was boring as, was pretty good. 1969s 'Midnight Cowboy' is another fave of mine.

The '60s was a great decade for films. Out of what's given I always liked these:
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Lillies of the Field
A Hard Days Night
Doctor Zhivago
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
The Graduate
Planet of the Apes
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
I voted for "Breakfast at Tiffany's". I saw it on AMC just last week. It was on very late so I missed the best part of it: its beginning and ending. Some highs and lows in the middle but more highs than lows.
As for Psysho, I could never really say it was a great film, I always found it too depressing, but not as depressing as "The Birds".
("The Birds", "Rosemary's Baby", and "Targets" now those are some depressing '60s films)
There are still many more that were some of the best of that decade that weren't listed.

I chose other, "Easy Rider".
Possibly the most overrated 60s movie of all...
