IMO the best Beach Boys' songs from Pet Sounds were their best from the '60s - especially Wouldn't It Be Nice, God Only Knows and Good Vibrations.
Wasn't "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" from 1969?
Anyway there are also these goodies:
Eve Of Destruction - Barry McGuire
Since I Fell For You - Lenny Welch
Most Beatles songs of course
Turn Turn Turn - Byrds
Mr. Tambourine Man - Byrds
You Can't Hurry Love - Supremes
Elusive Butterfly - Bob Lind
Ooh Baby Baby - Miracles
Daydream - Lovin' Spoonful
You Were On My Mind - Crispian St. Peters (better than the We Five version)
We'll Sing In The Sunshine - Gale Garnett
Under The Boardwalk - Drifters
