I was very shocked to hear of his death in '03, but he had a very powerful voice, as well as his sound. I have a CD of his, from what I read in the mini bio had had been in the Army, which is very interesting since he released many anti-war anthems like 'Stop the war' and of course 'War'. Truly a great talent.

I liked his late 70's disco hit "Contact" :)
