Or is it just a coincidence that they sound similar, and both have "Take Good Care Of My Baby" on their albums? ???

They do sort of sound similar
Bobby Vinton (born April 16 1935)
Bobby Vee (born April 30, 1943)

I believe Bobby'Vinton's given name was actually Stanley Robert Vintula.And if you look at photos of each,clearly you can see they're 2 different people!

There were alot of Bobby's in those days :D
There were also Bobby Rydell, Bobby Darin, Bobby Day, Bobby Hebb, Bobby Helms, Bobby Freeman, the Bobby Fuller Four, Bobby Lewis, and Bobby Pickett around that time. I could probably fill a jukebox with nothing but Bobby hits from my record collection!
