'Along came Jones' was done by the Coasters, and 'Monster Mash' of course by Bobby 'Boris' Pickett. Don't know who sang the others.

Dead Skunk by Loudin Wainright the 3rd.

Lyrics:
Crossin' the highway late last night
He shoulda looked left and he shoulda looked right
He didn't see the station wagon, car
The skunk got squashed and there you are

CHOUUS:

You got yer
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin' to high heaven

Take a whiff on me that ain't no rose
Roll up yer window and hold yer nose
You don't have to look and you don't have to see
'Cause you can feel it in your ol' factory

CHORUS

Yeah, you got yer dead cat
And you got yer dead dog
On a moonlight night you got yer dead toad frog
Got yer dead rabbit and yer dead raccoon
The blood and the guts
They're gonna make you swoon

CHORUS

You got it
It's dead, it's in the middle
Dead skunk in the middle
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin' to high heaven

All over the road
Technicolor man

Oh, you got pollution
It's dead, it's in the middle
And it's stinkin' to high, high heaven

It got some air time on the radio, She's the star of the show at some nightclub and when he sang Bridgets part, it sounded like he had inhaled helium to make his voice tiny. It's a cute song.
Who sang Bertha Butt?

Since "Bridget the Midget" and "Dead Skunk" are from the 70s, I took David Seville's "Witch Doctor"

"Bertha Butt Boogie" and "Troglodytes" are by the Jimmy Castor Bunch and also from the 70s.

Were this a 70s thread, my vote would go to "Troglodytes."

I know I didn't check my dates, in fact I think I just got caught up in thinking of wacky songs and forgot what decade I was in. I am not sure how wacky this one is, but I had a 45rpm cut of Amos Moses. poor kid was abused by his parents. used him as alligator bait but he grew up tough.

I can see you're a fellow 70s man.  Jerry Reed novelty songs are all good.  In fact, he's a better than average actor, too.

Spike Jones had superb Wacky Hits before the 1970s

Spike Jones had superb Wacky Hits before the 1970s
I read a review that acknowledged Spike as the grandfather of Weird Al & Ray Stevens.

My favorite wacky song of all time is one from the 1940s or 50s called "Feudin'A-Fussin' and A-Fightin'". I'd give my eye teeth for the words and Lord knows what I'd do for an actual recording. The only verse I remember is
Gramma poor ole Gramma
Why'd they have to shoot
Poor ole Gramma?
She lies 'neath the clover.
Someone caught her bendin' over,
Pickin' up a daisy.

The one I remember most was because it was so different from anything else this man has ever done. Speedy Gonzales by Pat Boone is a hoot.
