Subject: Anyone remember the 1969 New York Mets aka "The Miracle Mets"?

Does anyone here remember the 1969 NY Mets...I think that was their first World Series win.
Does anyone remember some of the players for the 1969 Mets? I think Tom Seaver was playing for them...

I wasn't a baseball fan back then but now, the Mets are MY team. ;D Yes, 1969 was the first time they were in the world series. They were formed in 1962 (?) and at the time was the worse team in MLB. But that changed in 1969-thus the name "Miracle Mets". They also went to the Series in 1986 and in 2000 (but lost to the Yankees :\'( )
