Subject: The Top 140 Hits of 1969, #82-100

Note: Data compiled by Billboard.
Error correction: The title of this thread should be: "The Top 140 Hits of 1969, #82-101"
There was an error made by me on the last poll "The Top 140 Hits of 1969, #61-80," as Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay" (national peak #7) was accidently omitted, the song taking the #77 spot of the whole year. Since it should have been on the poll, Marvin Gaye's "That's the Way Love Is" is actually #81 of the whole year, not #80. This explains why this poll has #'s 82-101 instead of #'s 81-100.
#'s 82-85 each peaked at #8 nationally; #'s 86-91 each peaked at #9 nationally; #'s 92-99 each peaked at #10 nationally; and #'s 100 & 101 each peaked at #11 nationally.
Note: "Oh, What a Night" by The Dells is NOT to be confused with the 1976 Four Seasons hit "December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)"! The two songs are completely unrelated. (The 1969 Dells hit is a doo-wop--soul ballad.)
