They've got around eight songs that I could list but if it's just one you want then I'll go with
1964's "Things We Said Today".

I love Michelle. So, I voted for it. But, Penny Lane was kick ass too! But, then again, all their songs fit a mood for me. So, it depends on my mood to tell you which one was the best one.

Lawks! One of those questions that I can't honestly answer...
But, if pressed, I'll go for 'She Loves You' - still sounds amazing after 40 years...
And it gives me a chance to throw in this nice little anecdote...
Just after John & Paul had finished off the composition, Paul played a rendition of it to his father...
McCartney senior sat through it, and was pleased with the result apart from one thing...
'Paul', he said, 'It's a very catchy song and all that, but why do you have to incorporate all those Americanisms into it?'
'Couldn't you sing 'She Loves You, Yes, Yes, Yes' instead...?!!'

Here's an ironic thing, Mark...your pal Michael J**kson also did a version of it - it appeared on the reverse of his 'Remember The Time' single from '92...
Not sure whether he did it justice (I should think not), as I never bought the thing and don't remember hearing it...

While I haven't heard EVERY Beatles songs, I've heard enough to pick a favourite. I'd have to narrow it down to about five songs;
'And I Love Her' from the 1964 album 'A Hard Day's Night', simple but strangely moving, it has a melody that really sticks into your head.
'She Love's You' another classic
'Eleanor Rigby' from Revolver, darkly melodic, it brilliantly captured the bleak mood of life in the UK in the late 60s.
'Hey Jude' an all time classic, although a touch repetitve (;-)).
'Long And Winding Road' The last high before the beatles split up, in my opinion a better song to 'Let It Be.'

Why was there a bleak mood of life in the UK in the late 1960s??

It's not the fact that he bought the rights...it's that he KNEW that the Beatles never wanted thier songs used in commercail and yet he did it anyway...what a scum! BTW, I remember The Beatles sueing Nike for using "Revolution" in one of thier commercial in 1987...so I think Flit boy purchased the rights after that ???

I'm surprised 'Michelle' is so highly regarded. Personally I don't care for it at all...perhaps one or two of my top ten would be no. 1s and i'm always changing my preferences, at current I think some of the best include 'Something,' 'Tommorow Never Knows', 'Penny Lane', 'Fool on the Hill,' 'She Loves You, 'I Should Have Known Better, 'Hey Jude', 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps,' 'Julia,' and 'The Long and Winding Road.'
