Subject: Bama Peanutbutter Mayonnaise
Sounds gross, doesn't it? I bought a cookie press at a yardsale 10 yrs ago and the woman had the discs to the press in a Bama Peanutbutter Mayonnaise jar, it looks like it is from the 50's or 60's. I have no idea who in the world would eat that combination but they obviously did at one time. Does anyone here have any idea when this stuff was sold? Is it still available anywhere here in the US? My guess is it is a southerner thing.

I always thought Elvis like fried peanutbutter and banana sandwhiches. Did he use the Bama Peanutbutter mayonnaise? I should ask my sister, she is obsecessed with Elvis, she even went to Graceland. She has Elvis memerobelia all over her house.

I've never actually seen then product you're talking about, but I do know a woman who, when she makes a peanut butter sandwich always puts a thin layer of mayo on the bread...I asked her why she did this and her answer was that peanut butter can get stuck in your throat and the mayo helps it go down! LOL!!
Oh and by the way, she's a Southerner.
