Wow, someone else remembers Winky Dink. I used to have one of those thingies that you could put on your t.v. screen and draw on it-but alas, mine wouldn't stick to the screen.  :'(

So many cartoons:
Couragous Cat and Minute Mouse
Batfink
Rocky and Bullwinkle
(of course) Bugs Bunny
The Flintstones
Many, many others

Other shows:
Wonderama with Bob McCalister (out of NY I think)
Kookla, Fran, and Ollie
Howdy Doody
Captain Kangaroo
Seseme Street
The Electric Co. (that is getting into the 70s along with Zoom)

There was a show out of the Hartford, Conn/Springfield, Mass area called The Strummer Drummer. I wonder if anyone else remembers that.

I had cable in my neighborhood, and I used to watch Wonderama. Does anyone remember that song "Exercise, exercise, come on everybody do your exercise"that was part of the show? Whenever I think of Wonderama I cannot help but remember that song!

In Cleveland they showed (what I now found was a syndicated show) (maybe from Canada) called "Uncle Al" and it had a guy(al) who played the accordian and would show a female named Wendy, who wore a cape an flew around(with cheap sky footage behind her). There is a web site for the show now and I'm glad I didn'tjust dream it up!

The song I remember from Wonderama was "Does anyone here have an aardvark? Does anyone here have an aardvark? Everyone here has a right and left ear but nobody here has an aardvark." During the song, all the kids would show the stuff that they brought with them and one time someone did have a stuffed aardvark. lol

Here is a link where you can listen to the Exercize song. But, they don't have the aardvark song.  :'(

Yes, "Shenanigans" was one of my favorite game shows for kids!
The star was Stubby Kaye(actor in Guys and Dolls and Lil Abner movies)...

They had a board game and designed the play area as a giant game board(or viceversa).

You would spin an hour glass that had dice in it and move to a particular  square where you pick a card with an activity to do or may wind up in the dog house and I think have to guess anmal sounds to get out...not sure it lasted very long or it was because I believe I heard the host couldn't believe he was doing that for a living and hated that work!

Will also look on line for the info on it or maybe it's on some old game show site.

ahhh memories!

I met Stubby Kaye way back when. Believe it or not, I just got a copy of Lil Abner. (I didn't think anyone remembered that one.)

Sorry to get off topic.
