Subject: Gun Smoke
I used to watch Gun Smoke religously. I loved the guy who played Festus. It was a great show.

When Ken Curtis replaced Dennis Weaver is when Gunsmoke really started getting good and in color also. The late 60's and early 70's Gunsmoke episodes are great and should be on DVD. I remember loving to watch TV on Saturday night; Gunsmoke, the best TV western ever, and then Mission Impossible; an awesome show. Too bad Barbara Bain and Martin Landau quit after the 3rd season, right at its peak.

Gunsmoke is such a cool show! Yeah Festus is cool. Sometimes I watch Gunsmoke on TV Land. It would be cool if they had the episodes on dvd.

We watched Gunsmoke every week, along with Bonanza and The Big Valley, The Virginian, and High Chaparelle. My mother was a big fan of the westerns so we watched them all. I loved Festus, he was one of the best parts of the show. I loved Hopsing on Bonanza and of course Little Joe ;)

Wicked, I don't have cable or satellite. Please tell me more about TV Land and Gunsmoke. Does it come on every day or just once a week? And do they show the episodes with Ken Curtis (Festus)?

Never really got into Gunsmoke, but one episode was memorable. Marshall Dillon saved a bunch of people by complying with the demands of some Indians. He even saved the life of a guy who tried to kill him, and he still saved the settlers, the Marshall was way cool.
