"Men who mean just what they say, the brave men of the Green Berets."

Remember when Barry sang it on Ed Sullivan?

I just watched "The Green Berets" yesterday -- the Turner cable channels love to do John Wayne moviefests.

I love that movie!  :)

"Out here, due process is a bullet."

Wayne was determined to make this film, even though he was aware of the fact that many would view him as a warmonger. In Wayne's mind, our country needed a healthy dose of patriotism.

A big "thank you" to our vets who have served and sacrificed so that we may be free ... and to those who gave all: You are never forgotten ...

Regards,

Nan
