Here's a few of my favorite forgotten cartoons from the 60's.

     1. "Do Do" the kid from outer space
     2. "Tutor" the turtle (Help, Mr. Wizard)
     3. "The Hunter" (He was a dog detective)
     4. "Roger Ramjet" and the american eagles (loved the
         "Solenoid Robots")
     5. "King Leonardo & Odie Colonie" (w/"Itchy brother"
         & "Biggie Rat")
     6. "Ruff & Reddy"
     7. "Mr. Magoo" ("Roadhog")
     8. "Maxi cat"
     9. "Milton the monster"
    10. "Touche` turtle (sidekick "Dum-Dum")

Butterball

Did Touche Turtle's side kick say 'dum, dum dum dum' when things went wrong?  If so you have solved something that has been puzzling me for a while.  I could remember the 'catchphrase' but not who said it.  No one else I knew had heard of it.

Does anyone else remember "Batfink?" I also remember:

Couragous Cat and Minute Mouse
I can't remember the name but it had Chicken Man, Coocoo    Man, Diper Man and a couple of others.
Hal-a-ca-Bong. (He used to clobler people with his guitar.)
George of the Jungle.
Underdog
Wacky Racers
(my favorite) Rocky and Bulwinkle.

"My wings are like a shield of steel, your bullets can not harm me"

Were all of these cartoons really 'Before the 1970's'?  Certainly not in Britain.

Wacky Racers was probably on in the 70's first time round and the others that I remember I would say were 80's cartoons.

I remember someone at school giving his name as Roger Ramjet to a supply teacher when she wanted to report him.

Thank you. No one I have asked over the years seem to remember that show. I remember whenever the commisionor would say his name, it was more like he "sprayed" his name. lol

Karen, you know it's been years since I've seen this cartoon. I'm not sure if he said that or not. I do remember that Dum Dum was a sheepdog tho'.

Batfink and his sidekick Karate. They drove a VW with a sunroof. Batfink would use his sonar...the word beep would come out of his mouth and  search for danger, and then return.

;) :D ;D :o :-[ :-[Two of those shows,Funky Phantom and Penelope Pitstop, had names which were probably most often mispronounced by young kids.Just delete 1 consanant from each name(I'll let you figure out which one!!!! :o :o :-[ :-[)and you end up with a really embarassing mispronounciation of the name!I think even some TV announcers were guilty of this.Cheers! :-[ :-[ :-[

Ok, I know I am quoting myself but I just have to share this story. It was in the late 80s, I had to get my car fixed, so I am sitting in the waiting room on a Saturday morning and the t.v. there had on the "New Adventures of Mighty Mouse." He goes into a lawyer's office of "Man, Man, Man, Man, and Man." It turned out to be "those guys." I was so excited and I was pointing to the t.v. and saying to everyone in the waiting room with me, "I remember them." Everyone looked at me as if I was from another planet. It seems that I was only there who did remember them. Well, I got a kick out of it even if no one else there did.
