Subject: Did this cool toy have a name?

I spent HOURS on e-bay looking for one of these gems of the late 60s and found that they were worth upwards of $450 but I never see a brand name attached...
They were tin 727s, 747s, etc. with 'Pan Am', 'Quantas', etc. painted on the side, in fact, the whole jet was intricately painted realistically. They had a wing-span of about 11" and were about 12" in length. You put a couple of C batteries in it and the running lights would flash, and it would make start-up sounds. It was not remote-controlled. I had a jet and also the helicopter with battery-operated blades that actually went around and I'm positive that they were made by the same company. Does anyone know anything about these?
