Subject: Soap cookies?
Anyone remember those weird cookies in the 60s that had orange & yellow marshmellow filling, and the surface had this hard, white-chocolate coating with little different color sprinkles in it? I don't know what they were really called, but my brother called them soap cookies. They were so horrible that only a child could properly appreciate them. :D

Didn't have them here Zella
I do remember as a young boy taking a bite of a cake of soap :P
If they tasted like that I can see why they aren't sold any more ! :-/

Hey Z your brother lied they weren't cookies they were really soap ;D

Wow! I never thought I'd live to see the day the unsuccessful soap cookie thread was resurrected... :o ;D

Quoting:
Those things sound suspiciously like paint chips :) :D ;D

That's because they were paint chips - the bikky company and the paint company had a deal, you take the paint chips away for no charge and we don't care what you do with them.
The biggest selling line was the "Orange & Yellow & Lead" marshmallow biscuit, but after an initial buying surge, custom died off...... ::)

You certainly got more value for your money, beat chewing on an entire wall for the same high low.... :'(
