Subject: Paul Revere & The Raiders
First off I am a Denver Bronco fan so the ONLY reason I capitolized the "R" in Raiders was it's the group NOT the team :D Anyway, does anyone remember the tv show they were in....late 60's?....I watched it after school and since we're on the subject...what are your favorite songs by these guys?

One of my step-cousins is a huge fan of Paul Rever & The Raiders. I remember when I visited him about 15 years ago that he had a autograph picture of the band. Sadly, I can't recall any of their songs. I'd guess I probably know several of their songs, but never knew the name of the artist...

I loved these songs by them....in no particular order:
Hungry
Good Thing
Kicks
Indian Reservation
That in fact might be all of thier hits....I really don't know :-/

The only hit of any description they had in Australia (as far as I know) was Indian Reservation...

Oh boy, I get to reminice about fuzzy bits of my past...
Way back in about 1972. Went to the Ohio State fair with two friends and their parents. Paul Revere and the Raiders were playing the fair. Of course we didn't actually get to see them as my friends' father dragged us about the whole fair at breakneck speed and we didn't actually get to see or do anything! :'( But they were there. I remember, honest! ;)

I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders in concert in 1967. We had really good seats-four rows from the stage- and my sister wanted to take Mark Lindsay home.He looked very nice.I have lots of Raiders 45s and an album or two around.I remember the tv show-"Where the Action Is" right?

Thanks so very much Zellan and Rock and Roll Fan. You made me feel very good . And the roses are beautiful.I haven't been online much because my youngest(23) has been having serious back pain and the MRI revealed she has a protusion in her back that is squashing a nerve. In any event , she has to see a neurosurgeon and she had a bad reaction to some meds she was given and had to be rushed to ER.All in all, I have had better weeks! Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies and those who still are lucky enough to have moms alive-I'll be taking flowers to the cemetary tomorrow myself. Not a day goes by but I think of something I want to ask her or tell her about-it's been a year and a half.

Paul Revere & The Raiders are still around - at least they were last summer. They played at a casino in southeastern Indiana, I went and listened to them. They have someone (I forget his name) who has replaced Mark Lindsay. They played all their old hits, and they have a new one dedicated to Vietnam Veterans. (There is a CD available.) I'm glad I got to go see them, I never got to see them live back in the 1960s.

IMO, Mark Lindsey was to Paul Revere and The raiders what Steve Perry was to Journey and Ronnie Van Zant was to Lynard Skynard.....oh and let's not forget Michael Hutchence :'(

In 1965-1966 the group was featured on the ABC TV five-day-a-week network show "Where The Action Is", produced by Dick Clark

I went to a concert yesterday called Oldiesfest...pretty fun outdoor concert. Anyway Mark Lindsay was there. It was a great show. I couldn't remember his name this morning though, this thread was a great find.
