Based on both theme song and visual intro, my pick would have to be the short lived 80s action/drama 'Stingray' starring Nick Mancuso. Back when TV Shows had theme songs, there was a category for it at the Emmy Awards called "Outstanding Graphic and Title Design" and Stingray won it in 1986.
"Theme From Stingray" by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter

HERC! HERC!
That was a Canadian cartoon, and man was it re-run well into the 90s.
That theme was sung by a then unknown Johnny "I Can See Clearly Now" Nash
Still love it!

Yes, I remember you saying this in a past thread. I'm surprised that you didn't include it yet... :)

As good as it is, there are others that are far better :P
In a Top 100 of greatest TV Theme songs of all time, it would definately be in there.

Drive... it was Mike Post (he did TONS of excellent intros)... but David Morgan singing the original (and briefly Joey Scarbury) Probably the only intro music I tried to record off the TV as a kid.

That was a great one. Much better than the balladish one they used for the First season.
All 3 seasons of Hardcastle & McCormick are now on DVD. A great show with a great theme 8)

'Different Worlds' ended up becoming a Top 20 hit. I often forget it was the theme to that show.

I guess any of the themes would do, but we'll go with the one from the episodes that got me hooked. :D
