Subject: Comics Code of America: 1954-2011. Our long national nightmare is over.

Born in 1954, the Comics Code Authority is finally, mercifully, and - albeit 57 years too late - dead.
No, this doesn't mean that Archie will finally go all Rule 34 with Betty and Veronica. (Which is just fine, thank you very much, the Internet's already taken care of that.) It's just something that's long overdue.

It sounds analogous to the television/cinema censors, which were discontinued in the '60s or '70s. I'm surprised the CCA didn't do the same back then.

Hurrah!
Now bring back my original Tales from the crypt, Haunt of Fear, and Vault of Horror that the code put out of business. I don't care if nearly everybody that worked on it is dead now... dig 'em up and have them work on new ones. I miss them. The new Tales from the Crypt are ok, but not the same.
