Subject: 70's and 80's pop culture in movies
Written By: Todd Pettingzoo on 01/17/11 at 12:31 am
In your opinion, between the 70's and 80's, which decade spilled over into the next decade the longest, as far as movies go?
Watching 80's movies, even as far as 1983, there is a good amount of movies you could mistake for a 70's movie. I've even seen a few movies from 1984 that feel more 70's than 80's.
Give or take a few hairstyles or clothes, I don't think you can mistake many, maybe even no 90's movies for 80's movies past 1991.
I think some fashion and hairstyles still stuck around a few years, but otherwise, I think the 80's ended pretty fast.
What does everyone else think?
