I definitely liked the Oneders...'scuse me, the Wonders, from That Thing You Do! (Those who've seen the film know that the band originally named itself the Oneders (pronounced "wonders", trying to be creative like the Beatles), but eventually became convinced that they had to spell it correctly.)

OMG. I completely forgot about this band till I just watched the movie tonight! And I always loved it! Such a classic! The girl band from the movie "The Batchlore Party". I completely had this one on the back burner... Great

Morris Day & The Time was a real band. They achieved success in the movie Purple Rain. In Purple Rain they were the headliner band and Prince & The Revolution was the underdog band.
