I'm not referring to the direct obvious fads such as 40s swing dancing or the 80s Rubik's, but indirect obsessions that I've observed from personal experience or what I've noted through the media-
20s: Paris
30s: hmmm
40s: hmmm
50s: UFOs or anything space related
60s: Brazil (early part of the decade), India, California
70s: Scandinavia, the 50s
80s: the Orient, sports, the early 60s
90s: late 60s-70s, anything British
00s: celebrities, 80s
