Subject: Artists who cover/remix themselves

On many occasions, an artist has taken a popular song they had, and made it a hit in a new version.  What were some of them?  Here's a few to begin (I added chart peaks for the UK and North America; charts for Canada before 1965 are not available) ...

My favorite

Cindi Lauper and
Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1984)
into
Hey Now (Girls Just Want to Have Fun) (1995)

And what about
Benny Mardones'
Into The Night (1980)
and again in 1989?
Same song, or was it something a little different?

Not sure if these all count as remixes/cover versions, but still...

1986 | You Got The Love - Candi Staton (original maxi version) (UK #95, NL dnc)
1991 | You Got The Love - The Source feat. Candi Staton (DJ Eren's Mix) (UK #4, NL  #46)
1997 | You Got The Love - The Source feat. Candi Staton (Now Voyager Remix) (UK #3, NL #25)
2006 | You Got The Love - The Source feat. Candi Staton (New Voyager Remix) (UK #7, NL #8)

The odd thing is... I remember the 2006 remix being distinctively different from this version. :-\\ I'm quite sure this wasn't the version that charted in Holland in 2006, but I can't find 'our' version anywhere. Possibly because it was terrible.

That said, Candi Staton still holds a UK record (being the only artist to hit the Top 10 three times with different versions of the same song).
