The Rankin/Bass holiday specials were so much a part of our growing up... no matter what year you were born you've probably seen these at least once so which are your favorites?
I chose Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, The Year Without Santa and Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Was that 'Frosty the Snowman' the animated one? "Happy Birthday!"
If so, then it gets my vote :)
If not, then I vote for Rudolph :)

To be honest, I like them all. I always loved staying home sick from school and catching these on the Disney channel when I was young. I didn't like being sick, but these helped fight my illnesses :) I chose Twas the Night Before Christmas, The First Christmas Snow and Jack Frost.

Ah yes, then that is my vote. I watch that one every Christmas. They made a sequel in the late 90s with John Goodman as the voice. It was also good :)

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
The worst one would be Rudolph's Shiny New Year.

I, myself, have always been a fan of the Scrooge story.
Therefore, my favorite was "The Stingiest Man In Town".
I also really enjoyed the Forsty & Rudolph series.
However, one that is NOT included in here, probably because it wasn't a holiday film, is their rendition of "The Hobbit".

yeah I thought about adding the hobbit et al but the list was so long already... I actually didn't want to put the other holiday ones (easter, thanksgiving but didn't want to offend anyone who thought I might be snubbing the other holdays for Christmas ;))
