'Stroker Ace' and 'Cannonball Run', but I also love 'The Man Who Loved Women' and 'Cannonball Run II'
In the movie 'Smokey and the Bandit II', Burt sings a song called 'Let's Do Something Cheap and Superficial'. In 1980, it reached #88 on the Billboard Chart :D

I had to pick Boogie Nights and Deliverance
His acting was great, he seemed to be doing something other then Burt Reynolds.

I agree. Burt is the man! well, a younger Burt Reynolds, that is ::) He's been in so many fun movies that I always watch when they are on, but I gots ta pick Smokey And The Bandit because he was such a showoff in that one, plus Jackie Gleason, Sally Field & Jerry Reed made for good chemistry & he had that bad ass 1977 Black Pontiac Trans Am.
Smokey & The Bandit
The Longest Yard
The End
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Dolly Parton looked awesome in her black corset, garters and black nylons)
I like all the other movies too, and what I like about Burt is that he could be funny and silly and make me laugh and then he could be deadly serious& kick butt in Sharkey's Machine or Deliverance.
good thread karen, I give you karma 8)

^thanks!
Remember his TV show? Evening shade was hysterical. I loved it.
After being a 70s sex symbol, it was refreshing to see him do so well in the comedy.

I surely thought the premise of Burt bootlegging 400 crates of beer would make that your favorite Burt film ???

I'm surprised at how many of those movies I haven't seen. I love Burt Reynolds though - the man is SEX-Y!

Yum. For me it's all about the eyes - he always has a twinkle in them like he's just done something naughty.

Personally, the only thing I ever really thought he acted half decently in was Deliverance
Co-incidental that it was pre the porn star moustache ?
