Very tough to choose, I love most of her songs, but I chose You're So Vain.

"Coming Around Again,"
but I would pick the synth-driven '80s hit!

I think the video is still posted on YouTube.

I picked other, becuase I cannot choose.

My all-time favourite though is a song not by Carly, but it features her voice.  It was a 1983 song called "Kissing With Confidence" by a fictional singer named Will Powers, that became a Top 20 hit in the UK.  Will was actually rock photographer Lynn Goldsmith who used a vocoder to make her voice sound like a man.  Carly sings the chorus

Carly Simon's a very talented singer...

I picked 'Nobody Does It Better'...followed closely by 'That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be'... :)

"That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be" is a very underrated song of hers. I've loved it ever since I was a young'un.

Coming Around Again is my second choice.

My two favorites by her

That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be (1971)
Coming Around Again/Itsy Bitsy Spider (1986) (from a movie called "Heartburn")

"That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be", one of my favorite moody/depressing/sad songs of all time!

My friends from college
They're all married now
They have their houses and their lawns
They have their silent noons
Tearful nights, angry dawns

Their children hate them
For the things they're not
They hate themselves for what they are
And yet they drink, they laugh
Close the wound, hide the scar

But you say it's time
We moved in together
And raised a family
Of our own, you and me

Well, that's the way I've
Always heard it should be
You want to marry me

My vote would probably go to "You're So Vain" since that's the song of hers I know the best.

I picked "Mockingbird" because I always loved their version of that song.  But it was close.

I could've picked That's The Way I Always Heard It Should Be, or Haven't Got Time For The Pain.  Anticipation's another fave.

Tough choice!
